Best Websites for Children

When I think, the best sites for kids wanted to be sure that the sites a real educational value and are easy to use. I did not include any sites that ask for any information, even an e-mail. Sites that had too much advertising, have been avoided. And finally, the pages I wanted to be free or very low cost.

I advise parents of all sites before sharing with your children so you know exactly what to look at each site.

SoIn that spirit, here are my options:

Starfall

Starfall is a website that children can learn to read. It has everything to learn the ABC of reading books. Graphics are colorful, attractive and easy to choose. The sound is clear and easy to understand. Best of all it is a leap and go there. No login and nothing to click to start. They also offer free printable sheets to practice writing. And it's all free. Starfall can be accessed from any computerwith an Internet connection. The site is listed for kindergarten through second grade, but pre-school children enjoy learning their letters and struggling readers can also enjoy.

PBS Kids

PBS Kids is a wonderful place to love many familiar characters, children: Clifford the Big Red Dog, Arthur, Maya and Miguel and Sesame Street has, just to name a few. The images are bright and attractive and the sound is great. For older children, is a popular ZOOM. Youto play, and free worksheets for printing. PBS Kids is a place to go and jump as well. No login and nothing to click to start.

One of the great things is that some sectors PBS Kids: The companion website for TV on PBS. Between the Lions, Reading Rainbow, Maya and Miguel are all represented on the site. Again, this page is FREE. PBS Kids is recommended for children through elementary school age.

Would not thisrather, they great parenting sites!

This site is much smaller than others, but I like it because it is easy to navigate for children in preschool and kindergarten children. They have cute online games in English / Spanish / color German / French children learn letters, numbers and shapes. This is an ideal place for ESL (English as a second language to begin with), the words spoken in English. Some children enjoy learning Spanish, German or French words. Fun The sound is very clear. This is also a jump and go there. And it's free.

Guys Read

Jon Scieczka, a famous children's author, created the website to read boys, to promote literacy for children. It 's a proven fact that children do not take place more easily read. I have to see my own teaching and studies have been conducted on this issue. How can we encourage kids to read more? One way is to boys with books and other reading materials availablethan to enjoy. "They Read site was created for kids (little boys and big guys), a place where you can find interesting books. There is also a forum called Reader Villas where you can interact with other kids talk about books they read.

This site offers interactive games, but if I had to choose only one site, available to myStudents would be this. I said, students, children, rather than for a reason. The information on this site is so large that students could use for basic research. (I). I'm not kidding. You have to see for yourself.

As I said, all information is free, but that have a membership. Members can print all the pages without advertising.

I can not believe so many people have never heard of Enchanted Learning.
