Kindergarten Phonics Worksheets

There are plenty of sites offering free worksheets phonics, but the selection of good phonetic worksheet kindergarten, it is important to keep in mind that your teaching group is extremely young.

That is, do not try to throw anything too complicated in the worksheet. I do some of the different types of worksheets that are available so that some ideas for creating their own spreadsheets and worksheets that are truly relevant for FlightsKindergarten students.

Leave Tracing: Find a dotted line have spelling of a word, is the image of the word, and the goal of exercise for students to practice writing, improving their ability to hear. For example, when the traces of the word for bat, ball and hoop. This is really a good, simple activity.

Attach the letter to correct sound / word: the activity in which a line is drawn between a letter and the image tagstarting with that letter. For example, you put a line from point A to pull the word "Apple" and the letter L on the word "lemon". This activity is good, but needs a lot of monitoring to ensure that students really connect letters. It is best used as homework, get help parents ensure their children properly attach the letters, words can.

Writing books: These are the books that are frequently the phonemes over and over again so that studentsunderstand it (the connection between letters and sounds old). For example, "Baby Bear hit the ball."

These books are really good, especially when this book is a coloring book that you can fill in common. Here is a good activity, to say that sound like "b says buh ... buh students race, ball, and then their balls in their color workbook. You can hang this up and everyone will enjoy.

Find the mistake: these activities are terrible for children. An examplecan underline the word that does not begin with the correct letter, or to correct the misspelled word. I know it seems that common sense, but I saw some teachers try, the children with this type of word that leaves are just ridiculously confusing to young students.

Crossword: Good for 7 years, guidelines for children in kindergarten. Search for "puzzle generator" on Google and you can make your own crossword puzzle. The older students really like this, younger students would be a non-go.
